Take Action. Be Active Citizens. Write your state and federal elected officials.
Here are some reasons to write:
- Share your experiences as a student involved with the Dead Man Walking School Theatre Project. What emotions did you experience as an actor in the play? Did your views on the death penalty change? What did you learn about the death penalty?
- Ask them to support a moratorium against the death penalty.
- Invite them to a play performance at your school.
